1. Colleague X - Structure with American Gable heating up arctic Russian Lamarr a streetcar conductor. Artificial romance storyline by no means persuades; Bressart has tremendous closing line, Cast includes Clark, Gable, Hedy Lamarr, Felix Bressart, Oscar Homolka, Eve Arden, and Sig Ruman. (90 minutes, 1940)

2. Pastor of Love - Capable account of the last years of D. H. Lawrence who inscribes dirty novels highlighted by his relation with his partner Suzman and the magazine of Lady Chatterley's Lover. It's a boring moving however gratifying film. Cast includes Ian McKellen, Janet Suzman, Ava Gardner, Penelope Keith, Jorge Rivero, John Gielgud, and Sarah Miles. (125 minutes, 1981)

3. Danny Boy - Ambitious even if arrogant, unrelentingly boring melodrama of sax player Rea, who trades his sax for a gun after observing a triple assassination. This was Jordan's directorial introduction, which he as well did the screenplay. He and leading guy Rea later reteamed for The Weeping Game. (92 minutes, 1982)

4. The Good Shepard - Edward Wilson, a loyal American, finds himself working for the OSS (what will become the CIA). When the war ends, he becomes one of the founders of the CIA. He is powerfully devoted to his career, finally at the expense of everything else in his life.

5. The Horse Whisperer - After her daughter is gravely injured in a horse riding accident, her prosperous mother takes the horse to a renowned horse whisperer in Montana. A romance between the two follows.

6. In God We Trust - Badly informed friar Feldman takes off to Los Angeles. to get cash for his monastery. This film is a comedy that is disastrously unfunny starring Richard Pryor, who is cast as God. Cast includes Marty Feldman, Peter Boyle, Louise Lasser, Richard Pryor, Andy Kaufman, Wilfrid Hyde-White, and Severn Darden. (97 minutes, 1984)

7. Doug's First Movie - The star of TV's Doug is characterized in this insipid, formulaic saga, produced exclusively for kids. Easy going preteen Doug attempts to show mercy to an creature in need collide with his desire to take his girl friend to the school dance. This movie was designed as a direct-to-video production. Voices of Thomas McHugh, Fred Newman, Chris Phillips, Constance Shulman, Doug Preis, and Alice Playten. (97 minutes, 1999)

8. In Enemy Country - So-so designer of WW2 enthrall, set in France and England, filmed on a back-lot. Not very persuading. Cast includes Tony Franciosa, Anjanette Comer, Guy Stockwell, Paul Hubschmid, Tom Bell, and Emile Genest. (107 minutes, 1968)
