The Sentinel from 1977. Smooth yet mindless shocker in reference to N. Y.C. fashion model, who rents a house in Brooklyn, finds it is occupied of demons and she is the next protector for the entrance to Hell. Cast includes Cristina Raines, Ava Gardner, Chris Sarandon, Burgess Meredith, Sylvia Miles, Jose Ferrer, Arthur Kennedy, John Carradine, Christopher Walken, Eli Wallach, Jerry Orbach, Jeff Goldblum, Beverly D' Angelo, Martin Balsam, William Hickey, and Tom Berenger. (93 minutes, 1977)

Happy Gilmore, hockey player Happy Gilmore finds his slap shot power translates into 400 yard plus drives in golf. Needing money to help his grandma save her house, he is going to attempt pro golf. His putting is as terrible as his driving is good, so he has a lot to learn. Overcoming all odds, Happy wins the tour championship and now can save grandma's house.

Macabre came out in 1958. Weird goings on in smaIl town where a physician's youthful daughter bafflingly disappears and a unspecified telephone caller declares that the kid has been buried alive. Cast includes William Prince, Jim Backus, Christine White, and Jacqueline Scott.

Sing, You Sinners from 1938. Gambling Crosby couldn't face accountability, regardless of jabbing his sibling MacMurray. Three siblings with dissimilar interests have a singing act. Can the other two brothers save the day when the gambling brother bets on a "sure thing"? Includes Wesley Ruggles, Bing Crosby, Fred MacMurray, Donald O'Connor, Elizabeth Patterson, Ellen Drew, and John Gallaudet.

Good Times was released in 1967. Back while the harmonizing twosome was still considered madcap, they made this entertaining little film, with Sonny daydreaming about their possible film roles and he and Cher harmonizing "I Got You Babe." Cast includes Sonny and Cher, George Sanders, Norman Alden, and Larry Duran.

Holiday came out 1938. First version of Philip Barry's play in reference to non-conformity is a delightful movie. Johnny Case finds himself engaged to a millionaire's daughter and he must choose between a profession in big business or living life as a holiday. 1938 version includes Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant among others.

Lilies of the Field from 1963 is a "small" motion picture that made exceptional, triumphing Poitier an Oscar as handyman who helps to construct a chapel for Skala and German-talking nuns. Cast includes Sidney Poitier, Lilia Skala, Lisa Mann, Isa Crino, and Stanley Adams.
